Between Lines

The Company

Role: DIRECTOR & SOUND DESIGNER

In her non-fiction book, The Treehouse, Naomi Wolf outlines twelve tenets of creativity as taught by her father, the poet, Leonard Wolf. The creative process used in this piece borrowed Wolf’s chapter headings. Physical material developed through words and imagery became twelve episodes. Metaphors were made explicit in the body, writing structures were explored (including a surreal sonnet), and slowly the shape of the piece emerged – truthful and touching.
