Lulu 7

The Company

Role: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
/// World Premiere

Inspired by Frank Wedekind’s LULU plays, EARTH SPIRIT (1895) and PANDORA’S BOX (1904), LULU 7 challenges the notion of women as a series of stereotypes and explores the character of Lulu by today’s standards as she ages, progresses through society, and is continually reconstructed according to the fantasies of the people she encounters – what do we make of her and how do we react to her end?
