Attempts on her Life

Ensemble Member (Tom Christophersen)

Martin Crimp attempts to represent the modern world in a groundbreaking work with no plot, no characters, and no linear structure. The play is hailed as one of the best of the last quarter century and is applauded for its exploration of terror as violence, civil unrest, and media hype. Twenty young theatre-makers step up to the challenge set by their educational institution: to work as a professional theatre company. Each student assumes a creative production role in the company and a performance role on stage. The production becomes the students’ attempt to articulate who they are, where they’re going, and how they got there in the first place.
