The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol

Lucie – Act 2 (Luke Willing)

Role: ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

From the slopes of the Alpage, a man runs to the edge of the world to escape the love of an impishly delightful hobgoblin of a woman. Years later, he returns home to find that a whole way of life has evaporated from the earth. Based on John Berger’s story, The Cocadrille, in his collection of tales from Alpine peasant life, The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol is a Brechtian fable of an ancient world set to be submerged by the tide of modernity.
